HABU TECHNOLOGY provides these types of Wellhead Control Panels (WHCP) which are solar power (Green Energy) operated and would reduce Carbon Footprint and also help make operations more cost effective by eliminating the use of external electricity, compressed air and reduced maintenance cost while improving equipment availability.
The Panels are deployed to control single and dual string wells and are designed to operate in harsh Offshore/Onshore desert environment conditions. The panels are built with Hydraulic power unit, ESD/FSD logic Control System, and sophisticated instrumentation. The panel is fabricated using Stainless Steel plates and encapsulates the tubing and instrumentation. The panels have an emergency shutdown system to ensure safety of people and assets.
WHCP is supplied with solar power system which contains 3 main components: Solar modules, Charge regulator(s) & Battery bank. Solar modules are assembled on a structure & mounted on top of the panel. Solar module produces DC power and is wired through the charge regulator to charge the battery bank. The two main functions of the charge regulator are to prevent the battery from being overcharged and to eliminate any reverse current flow from the batteries back to the solar modules at night. Charge controller is provided inside the Local Control Panel, in case of low voltage or over voltage. It disconnects batteries from charge circuit and as well from load circuit to protect the solar system. The battery bank stores the energy produced by the solar array during the day for use at any time of day or night. Batteries come in many sizes and grades.
WHCP comes with a battery load bank according to customer’s autonomy requirement.
HABU TECHNOLOGY’s Multipoint chemical injection skids are more suitable when the number of injection points is more and there is a space constraint to accommodate the skid foot print. The value proposition of this product is direct cost reduction in the capital investment, as one single skid replaces multiple chemical injection skids. The operating cost is much lower in this option as the maintenance cost is less and the floor utilization is maximized.
A single pump can be used to inject the same chemical at different locations, at different pressure and at different flow. This can be achieved by using pressure independent flow control valves. These flow control valves maintain a constant flow regardless of pressure changes across them. These flow control valves have pre-determined flow ranges and flow can be adjusted either manually or electronically. The flow control devices use a unique spring system to maintain a constant differential pressure across a fixed orifice system.
This type of system is best suited for offshore platforms where there is always a space constraint and the need for injecting different chemicals at different locations, pressure and flow. All these requirements can be achieved in one system by using compartmental tanks for storing different chemicals and by using different pumps with number of flow control devices to inject different chemicals at different pressures and flow rates.
This system can be controlled locally or remotely and is suitable for operation in hazardous as well as safe zones.
This type of HABU TECHNOLOGY Chemical Injection Skids are most suitable at offshore platforms where there is severe space constraint and a need for injecting different chemicals in the same location. Multi compartmental tank skids are mostly combined with multi-point or multi-pump injection systems. Different type of chemicals can be stored in different compartments of the rectangular tank which can be placed on the same skid base frame.
Each compartment of the tank shall have separate set of pumps (single or multi head), valves and instruments. Controls for the whole system can be integrated into one system.
Skid size and cost benefit can be achieved as against a conventional type of skid.
HABU’s Green energy sources like the solar energy is the answer to the climate change problem the world is facing today and Solar Powered skid is an application of that variety. Oil and gas exploration usually takes place in remote areas where basic utility is not available. To distribute power in these remote locations, solar energy is often the most reliable and economical source. This type of Chemical Injection Skids taps the solar energy and convert it into electrical energy to drive the pump by using photovoltaic cells. This helps in reducing the carbon footprint of our customers and also serves as a source of saving on account of utility cost reduction and maintenance cost reduction.
The skid comes with a battery load bank according to customer’s autonomy requirements. The battery bank is charged using solar energy to ensure availability of power during absence of sunshine.
This type of system is suitable for operation in hazardous as well as in safe areas.
HABU TECHNOLOGY Builds Mobile Injection Skid. It’s a type of Chemical Injection Skid best suited for the conditions where the same chemical is required to be injected at low flow rates and at multiple locations.
The compact and self contained design makes the skid unit a very versatile and cost effective product.
All components like pumps, tank, valves, instruments, controls and other accessories required for safe and trouble free operation of chemical injection skids are placed on the skid which is mounted on the wheels. These skids can be used to inject chemicals at different locations as and when required.
The pumps can be both electrically or pneumatically operated to ensure operating ease at any point within the customer’s premises.
At each location, the operator has to hook up the injection points and air/electrical connections which are provided at the skid battery limit.
HABU TECHNOLOGY Odorization packages use leading edge technology to place an odorant into a gas flow. The most common type is the one that injects a smelly Ethyl Mercaptan liquid into natural gas lines so that leaks can be easily detected and thereby prevent explosions from built up fumes.
Our system integrates with double diaphragm pumps, which are hermetically sealed, provides long life, easy maintenance and leak free operation. To accommodate storage needs of the odorant, we provide Pressure Vessels complete with all level instruments for local/trip functions, Nitrogen/Fuel Gas Blanketing Line and all other accessories that are needed for safe handling.
Our systems are engineered to measure and inject precise amounts of liquid odorant into any volume of gas that flows down the pipeline. Accurate injection of Odorizer can be accomplished by manual/automatic stroke control on the pump with flow meter in the discharge line for the flow verification.
Complete pressurized wetted parts are made with SS316 construction and all drain lines are fully interconnected so that there are no chances of any spillage of the chemical. All controls and injection tie in points are terminated at the skid for ease of installation and hook-ups to the client system.
The complete system is suitable to operate in Hazardous as well as safe area zones.
HABU TECHNOLOGY Diaphragm or plunger type Multi-head pump can be used to inject two or more liquids through one pump. The pump employs a single drive mechanism coupled in parallel with multiple pumping chambers, each capable of handling different types of chemicals. Instead of using several pumps for pumping different chemicals, one single pump with number of heads can be used.
The multi-head type pump is a positive displacement electric motor driven pump designed as per the API 675 standard. The capacity of the pump can be altered from zero to maximum by stroke length adjustment mechanism. Multi-head pumps can have two or more heads, and all of them can be individually operated. The pumps are precisely designed to make sure dosing of different chemicals in the required ratio. Its compact design demands less maintenance.
Multi-head pumps are mostly used where there is space constraint and when budget is a prime factor. This type of skid mainly integrated with multi-compartment tank can be used to store different chemicals.
The only disadvantages with this pump is that as this multi-head pump is run by only one common motor, any defect in the motor will cease the operation of all injection lines. This can be overcome by putting one pump as a standby.
Areas where the atmospheric temperature is below freezing point, the injection system has to be provided with a heating system to prevent the chemical from freezing.
This can be achieved by electric and heat tracing of the complete system. Every pipe or vessel is subject to heat loss when its temperature is greater than ambient temperature. Trace heating is used to replace the heat that is lost to atmosphere. Trace heating takes the form of an electrical heating element run in physical contact along the length of a pipe. The pipe must then be covered with thermal insulation to retain heat losses from the pipe. Heat generated by the element then maintains the temperature of the pipe. An ambient temperature sensor can be used to energize the heating cable before the ambient temperature drops below freezing point.
Emergency Shutdown Devices (ESDs) utilized in emergency situations to ensure the safe and effective shutdown of platforms and plants in a controlled manner. Habu offer tailored ESD’s as per client requirements and required logics.
